12 week ultrasound

this was really hard to see, but this was my ultrasound yesterday..looks like bodys getting bigger i guess so head doesnt look so disproportionate. i also went for fluids yesterday. im supposed to go twice a week since im declining to be admitted to the hosp.next appointment is next sunday.

11 & 12 wk update

sorry the past few weeks have been hard. we are trying to move back to vegas and my healths been getting worse.the dr wants to admit me to the hospital since i cant maintain my weight..lost twelve lbs this past month..five this week alone. babys heart rate was around one seventy weeks ten and eleven..yesterday at twelve in a half weeks it was one fifty four. dr said baby is still growing ok..measuring at eleven point three...should be eleven point four but still ok she just said she foresees me having a really tough time traveling if i dont get this under control. its stressful and miserable..just pray it gets better soon.

10 weeks today

ten weeks today. zofran doesnt seem to be helping. ive lost about five pounds this week, but belly seems to still be getting bigger. cant wait to be outta first trimester. in other news, wes got his rating back from the army so we will be back in vegas in three to four weeks. 

9wks

nine wks and one day....the zofran helps ive been able to eat a little more than just crackers and pretzels..but still nauseous a lot. we have a follow up appt. next fri the twelfth. i still have to go do bloodwork before then. weights staying the same give or take a lb or two..but the bellys getting bigger..but that could also be attributed to the zofran which makes it hard to go to the bathroom..anyway we are looking forward to getting back to a home that feels like a home...and ellie

first prenatal

today was our first prenatal visit..we got such an awesome surprise because as ive already had my annual pap smear and culture in june, they did an ultrasound. we got to hear the babys heartbeat and see it. i was so happy because i know sometimes its too early to be able to hear it. she said the baby looked good. the heart rate sounded good. i have to go get some bloodwork to test for anemia and luckily she gave me a script for zofran and pepcid..so i was able to actually eat a half a bagel today and some mashed potatoes. i was worried about taking meds during first tri. but she said its safe and its better for me and the baby if i can actually eat meals. i have a followup in two weeks. heres a pic of the ultrasound on the left is the little yolk sack which is supplying baby w nutrients on the right is the baby..i know..its small. but  yay its official.the bottom pic is just a bigger pic of the baby.

we eloped shortly thereafter...in jeans and flipflops..while id still like a wedding with a dress someday..that will have to wait until after our june buggys born

The proposal

he took me to long beach, ca. we stayed at the hyatt with an ocean view. it was gorgeous. we had dinner outside at parkers lighthouse. after dinner, we were trying to take a picture at our table. a lady at the table behind us offered to take it. wes had her follow him over to the fire pit to take a pic in front of the lighthouse..next thing i know the waiter comes out w a bottle of wine...i said to wes...what kind of wine is this? he said..the kind u have in the room..i said u dont even like wine. there was a note in the bottle..it said amber, will u marry me? meanwhile he got down on one knee while i was reading it..and proposed.

Surprise!

so i have a few mins where im not suffering w morning sickness and decided to start this blog to track the pregnancy and baby. we are seven in a half weeks today and heres a pic. we have our first prenatal next thursday.
